Martha Tawiyah

Martha Tawiyah is the founder of Mumsbooth Empowerment Initiative and Convener of the Project Start by Mumsbooth program. Her passion to see women do something, Start a business to create a source of income for themselves, and teach women to become the best version of themselves is what birthed this organization and all it has accomplished.

Martha is a Network Engineer, a Project Manager, an Entrepreneur, a Certified Business Development Service Provider(BDSP) and a Start-Up Business Expert with over 12 years of experience in Business.

She was born in Jos, Plateau state Nigeria, and had her secondary school education at Airforce girls Military school Jos after which she studied Electronic Engineering at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has been trained on Leadership and Team Development with the International Business Management Institute, Berlin, Germany.

She currently runs 2 businesses of her own and has also founded this Non-Governmental Organization Mumsbooth Empowerment Initiative to help women and children.

As a business Expert and the Lead consultant of MIA Consults, she has worked with over 180 businesses 1-on-1 and helped them start up. She has led a team to train over 3000 SMEs in a Business boot camp across the 6 Geo political zones in Nigeria.

Her work with women started as a thought to bring women together in bulk and teach them to start a business with the help of a few other friends who had businesses on their own. The passion and yearn to see women have a source of income has kept the organization going and growing.
